The history of Animal Kingdom dates back to 1931 when 15g chocolate bars first started being produced.
Collaboration with the Stožerpublishing house was initiated and the first Animal Kingdom album with beautiful illlustrations of animals was published.
At the beginning of the 1960s, Kraš purchased the rights to and became the owner of Animal Kingdom, whose recognizable taste helped bring generations together.
Images with the illustrations of animals were replaced by more realistic photos of animals and the concept of the album was changed, now displaying a more extensive description of an animal above the image frame.
In the mid-1980s, the images with animal illustrations made a comeback and the album started to be printed in paperback.
In 1994, Animal Kingdom experienced a more drastic change of appearance, when it appeared on the market as a coloring book.
